Bettye Perkins, TSTT’s executive director, now has another title before her name: Dr. In December 2002, she was awarded her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership, Administration and Policy from Fordham University. Her dissertation was about the TSTT collaborative partnership model that she developed and has successfully implemented for the past nine years.

“It was important to document the TSTT model because of the unique collaboration that exists among our TSTT partners,” said Dr. Perkins. “TSTT and is successful because of the strong support given by our school districts, colleges, parents, businesses, and communities, and most of all, our students.”
