On a national basis 33% of teachers leave the profession after only 3 years and 50% leave after 5 years. However, among teachers who have joined the profession through TSTT, only 7% leave after three years and a mere 10% leave after 5 years. TSTT offers continuous support for our alumni who become teachers and is very proud of our first cohort to reach the milestone of 10 years in the profession.
“Jeff Cole has served as the Curriculum Leader for Special Education in our middle school since before my arrival two years ago. His leadership in the areas of inspiring and motivating adults to serve students has been exemplary. He enlisted colleagues to completely revamp our Child Study Team to provide ideas and supports to struggling students in a targeted and consistent way. He empowered our teaching assistants to take charge of their own learning and to share their expertise in differentiation with teachers in the building. He connects with students in very profound ways that make them realize how much they can accomplish. Seven Bridges is grateful to have Jeff on our team.”
