TSTT’s Foundation Award recipient, Patricia Lanza is respected as an enduring supporter of children and education locally and internationally. TSTT inducted 17 graduating college seniors from the Greater Hudson Valley into the TSTT Hall of Fame. They will make a difference in their communities despite the many challenges educators face.

In the Rochester region this year 16 high school seniors will be entering college and five TSTT college seniors earned a Baccalaureate degree and were inducted into the TSTT Hall of Fame!

TSTT was honored to have as keynote speaker the Superintendent of West Irondequoit School District, Jeffrey Crane, who spoke about the essential qualities of a great teacher along with mistress of ceremonies, Dr. Bernadette Poole-Tracey.

Phi Delta Awards Dinner

On May 26th 2011 the annual Phi Delta Awards Dinner was held at Nazareth College where three TSTT high school seniors received the prestigious Phi Delta Kappa scholarships to pursue degrees in education.

TSTT Regional Program Manager, Prudence Wilson was the recipient of the Phi Delta Kappa Presidential Award for her outstanding dedication and commitment to the community.

Program Progress

We serve over 800 students in 40 high school districts and 21 partnering colleges & universities. Operating in four states: New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Virginia, there are 150 TSTT college graduates who have completed the eight year curriculum and are currently teaching in 9 states.
